– “I left Syria 3 years ago after our hometown went through extensive shelling. We went to Turkey for safety as it was the closest country to us”.

– “What advice do you give students your age who went through similar circumstances as you ?”

– “ I tell them to stay hopeful and take advantage of the unique situation we are in. We have lost a lot but we are also lucky to be in a school providing us with a great education and all year long workshops and activities. We are now millions outside of Syria, and we will be without a doubt those who will shape its future on our return. We have an opportunity to take this great education we are given to make tomorrow a better place for us and the generations to come”.
