“What would you say is your biggest contribution to the students?”

“I think that would be my last workshop at Al Salam which I called : “My Profession is My Choice.” My objective was to break with traditional thinking and allow the students to identify their skills and talents and choose a career path that they are passionate about. When I first visited the school, almost all of the students wanted to study medicine, it was almost a reflex answer. Today, you will notice that we have students passionate about studying journalism, engineering, medicine, pharmacy, history, etc. Seeing these students identify their skills, talents and passions, and make their own thoughtful decisions about their future is the best reward I can ask for.”
