Inflationary pressures are impacting our university scholarship program. University education, once free for Syrian students, now costs 130,000 Turkish liras (about $5K CAD). Even meal prices have jumped from 1 lira to 15 liras. Many students are dropping out of university due to financial strain and post-earthquake unemployment.

A few months ago, seven of our students have graduated through our scholarship program. Currently, we have 20 students enrolled in our university scholarship program. Nonetheless, there is still a waitlist of over 100 students eligible that need your support.
