We are absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news with our community!

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has officially approved the Syrian Kids Foundation to expand our humanitarian and educational work inside Syria.

This means that, for the first time, donations from Canada can directly support our educational projects in Syria. This is a major milestone, and we could not have reached it without your trust and unwavering support.

Even more exciting: we have already begun the process of building a brand-new school in Idlib, Syria. A safe, welcoming place where children can learn, grow, and dream again.

We’ll be sharing more details very soon, so please stay tuned.

Thank you for your incredible support. We couldn’t be more hopeful for what’s to come!

At Al Salam Summer Club, we believe in showing up for each other both in and out of the classroom. This week, our students and educators visited their friend Tayyib after he was involved in a car accident. They wished him a speedy recovery and shared some encouragement, hoping to make him feel supported and remembered.

Acts of care like this strengthen friendships, build community, and remind us that we’re always better together. We are incredibly proud of our students, and we aim to continue nurturing positive engagement within our community.

Our students and teachers in the Rabi Al-Salam 2025 course visited their dear friend Jana, who has been recovering from surgery. They came with smiles, prayers, and a small gift. Most importantly, however, they came with positive intentions to nurture and support their peer.

Through this social support, emotional resilience can be boosted. Indeed, such sympathetic actions don’t just support the one who is healing; They also nurture empathy, responsibility, and compassion in those who give. By visiting Jana, her peers learned what it means to be part of a caring community.

We pray for Jana’s full recovery and look forward to seeing her back at the Center of Peace with her usual energy and joy!

📚Every donation = one more child in the classroom.

The reality is that the number of students we can welcome at the Al Salam Center of Culture and Science depends entirely on the support we receive. Right now, we have a long waitlist of Syrian refugee children who are eager to learn, grow, and rebuild their futures—but we can only accept as many students as our funding allows.

With your help, we can expand our reach and support more children.

🔹 How you can make an impact:

1️⃣ Donate: —every dollar goes directly to supporting a child’s education.

2️⃣ Share this post to spread awareness.

3️⃣ Sponsor a student to give them a brighter future.

Let’s come together to serve our community as much as possible!
